Distance drifted by the boat along the river = d
tan 30 = d/s => 1/3√1/3 = d/s
Ratio of speeds = Ratio of distances travelled
=> x/10 = d/s = 1/3√1/3
=> x = 10/3√10/3
So, speed of the boat downstream = 10 + x = 10+10/3√10+10/3 m/s
