Hi Let initial volume be V liters Now petrol :99 and kerosene : V-99 Now when volume is 198 less than mixture so we get V-198 as mixture volume So by given condition : Petrol volume : 99 and kerosene :V-297 Now by condition (99/V-198) *100 -40/3 =(99/V)(100) So we get V(V-198)=495*297 So V =495 Therefore petrol concentration = (99/495)*100 =20
