Unlike other IIMs across India, IPM Ranchi does not have its own entrance examination. IPM Ranchi considers the exam score from IPMAT 2026, conducted by IIM Indore, instead. The "cut off" refers to the minimum score that must be obtained in order to receive an invitation to interview in person for IIM Ranchi. Minimum Eligibility Cut-off:

This is the minimum requirement to apply. You will need:

• General/NC-OBC/EWS: A minimum of 60% in both Class 10 & 12.
• SC/ST/PwD: A minimum of 55% in both Class 10 & 12.

Minimum Shortlisted Cut-off:

The Minimum shortlisted cut-off refers to the lowest score required to qualify for the next selection stage which is Personal Interview. For the upcoming 2026-31 batch IPM program admissions, minimum cutoff for general category is expected raw score to be between 185 to 205 out of 360. For OBC-NC, SC and ST categories, minimum cutoff is expected raw score to be between 125-140, 95-105 and 50-60 respectively.
