How to solve number siries

The number series problems generally comes in the form of series where we have to either find out the sum of the series or the general term of the given series. These series can be AP or GP and hence you can follow the standard concepts while solving these problems. In case of other series, the best way to find out the general term of the series is to write down the first 4-5 terms of the series and try to identify the formation of each term. Generally you will figure out a relation in every term and hence you can find the general term of the series. If you are asked to find the sum of the series, remember to break each term of the series in such a way so that only one or two terms remain at the end and hence you can calculate the sum.
