How can I answer passage reading questions it's taking too long time

Read the questions, there are always important words that standout and quickly scan the paragraph for the word. Leave the questions like "What is the author trying to say?" because it always can be delusional. You can never understand the mind if the author neither you are meant to. Questions such as which statement is true/false can also be left out. The theme is not to waste time reading passage again and again.
