Find the number of the integer coordinate points in the region 4x+5y<100 and 2x+3y>30 where x≥0x≥0 and y≥0y≥0. can you explain in detail how we are getting 50 boundary points for 1st equation? question was given in one of the test

Hi Anurag,
Can you please post the complete question? The number of boundary points on the first line would not be 50.
Boundary points will be those points which satisfy the equation 4x + 5y = 100
There will only be 5 integral solutions for this equation (5, 16), (10, 12), (15, 8), (20, 4) and (25, 0)
Hence there should only be 5 boundary points instead of 50. Please post the link to the question so that we can look into it.
