The initial requirement for admission to FMS is to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) exam. Each year, more than two lakh candidates participate in the CAT exam. The final selection process at FMS takes into account the candidate’s CAT score, along with factors such as Extempore and Personal Interview.

FMS Delhi Eligibility Criteria
Applicants seeking admission to the MBA program should have completed a Bachelor’s Degree program after twelve years of formal schooling, with a minimum of 50% marks at the graduation level for the unreserved category (SC/ST: Passing Marks; OBC Non-Creamy/EWS/PWD/CW: 45% as per University Rules) or an equivalent CGPA.
Candidates in the final year of Bachelor’s Degree are also eligible to apply. Those with CGPA scores should clearly mention the equivalent percentage of marks and provide a copy of the official CGPA to Percentage conversion table from the respective university/institution.

Admission Process At FMS Is Broadly Divided Into Two Stages:
Stage 1 – In the first stage, candidates are shortlisted for interviews on the basis of their CAT score.
Stage 2 – The next phase involves the college’s selection process through Personal Interview (PI). A Final Score is computed for the Final Selection, wherein the score of each candidate is determined (usually out of 100) based on specific parameters. The final selection list is then compiled based on these scores.

For the purpose of shortlisting candidates for the interview process, an extra 5 marks will be added to the Weighted Score specifically for women candidates.
Also, In stage 1 of the selection process, usually, there is no weightage for other factors such as Academics, Work experience etc.

Stage 2: Final Selection
Admission to the MBA Full-Time program will be granted based on the following criteria and weightage system from the list of candidates shortlisted for the Interview Process:

An additional 5 marks shall be awarded to the women candidates who appear for the interview. As we can see, in the final selection, FMS doesn’t give weightage to one’s graduation scores.
