Akash, Bhanu and Sam work on a project. After they complete 1/4th of the project, Sam takes a break For 7 days only Akash and Bhanu work on the project. After that Sam relieves both of them. He completes the project in five more days. Bhanu works 50% faster than Akash and Sam alone can finish the entire project in 20 days. How long would Bhanu take to finish the entire project? a) 25 days D) 23 1/3 days  c) 21 days d) 22 1/2 days

work done by Akash be A
work done by Bhanu is 1.5A
Work done by Sam is 1/20 units

when A, B and S work together,
A+1.5A+1/20 = 1/4
2.5A + 1/20 = 1/4

work done A and B in 7 days,

2.5A x 7 = 17.5 A
work done by sam in 5 days,

1/20 x 5 = 1/4

therefore, total work is,

1/4+17.5A+1/4 = 1
 Therefore A = 1/35
 
B's rate becomes 1.5 x 1/35 i.e. 3/70

therefore b will take 70/3 days i.e. 23.33 days.
