How to solve games and tournaments question where a no of n teams are divided into 2 pools and then it is asked to determine the min no of points with which a team can reach next stage or a max no of points scored by a team and yet failed to reach next stage? I always get confused between the minimum and maximum. Please respond to the question with an example (of good level). Thank You

How to form table for the following question ?A group of 10 students(A,B,C...,J) went to tuitions for exactly one subject among Mathematics, Science, English and Hindi. Each of the students is from exactly one of the four classes among 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th. For each subject, there were a distinct number of students who went for tuition. At least one student went for tuition for each subject. The number of students from each class were different and there was at least one student from each class. Further,(1) C and E go to tuition for the same subject while A and J are from the same class. (2) Maximum number of students are from 8th class and maximum number of students went to tuition for maths. (3) H and I neither go to tuition for the same subject nor are they from the same class. H is from class 7 and F goes to tuition for Hindi. (4) No two students, except B and G, who took tuitions from the same subject were from the same class. Both B and G go to science tuition and are from class 10. (5) D, who is from class 9, goes to tuition for Hindi. (6) B, who is from the same class as E, goes to tuition for the same subject as J.
