100%-20% = 80%
out of 80% he spent 1/4 = 80*1/4=20%
so total spent = 20%+20%=40%
so according to question
9600 is half after spent so , 9600*2 = 19200 which is equal to 60%
60%=19200
100%=x
now cross muultiply = 60*x=100*19200
x = 32000
