Two numbers are 30% and 37% lesser than a third number. By how much percent is the second number to be enhanced to make it equal to the first number?
Let third number = $$100x$$
First number is 30% less than $$100x$$ and second number is 37% less than $$100x$$
=> First number = $$70x$$ and Second number = $$63x$$
To make second number equal to first number, it should be enhanced by = $$70x - 63x = 7x$$
=> Required % = $$\frac{7x}{63x} \times 100 = \frac{1}{9} \times 100 = 11.11\%$$
