A factory buys 7 machines. 2 MachineA, 4 MachineB and rest MachineC. Prices of the machines are Rs 56000, Rs 45000 and Rs 30000 respectively. Calculate the average cost of these machines.

Solution

Cost of machines A, B and C respectively are : Rs. 56000 , 45000 and 30000

Number of machines A, B and C respectively are : 2 , 4 , 1

=> Total cost = $$(2 \times 56000) + (4 \times 45000) + (1 \times 30000)$$

= 112,000 + 180,000 + 30,000 = Rs. 322,000

$$\therefore$$ Average cost = $$\frac{3,22,000}{7}$$ = Rs. 46,000

=> Ans - (A)
