Expression : $$2 - [6 - \left\{3 + (-4 + 5 + 1) \times 8\right\} +12]$$

= $$2 - [6 - \left\{3 + (2\times 8)\right\} +12]$$

= $$2-[6-19+12]$$

= $$2+1=3$$
