The total marks scored by Amit in English and S. Studies is what percent (correct to one decimal place) more than the marks scored by him in Maths?

Solution

For finding the percent % value we dont need to solve for marks

Marks scored by Amit in English and S.science = 64 + 68 = 132$$^{\circ\ }$$

Marks scored in Maths = 80$$^{\circ\ }$$

Required Percentage = $$\frac{132-80}{80}\times\ 100=65\%\ $$
