The average of marks obtained by S3 and S5 is what percent less than the marks obtained by S9?

Solution

S3 = 87

S5 = 99

avg = $$\frac{99+87 }{2}$$ = 93

S9=100

so,

$$\frac{ 100-93}{100}\times100$$ = 7%
