The monthly incomes of A and B are ₹12000 and ₹8000.

Their expenditures are in the ratio of 5:3.

Let their expenditures of A and B be 5x and 3x.

Since their savings are equal ,

12000 - 5x = 8000 - 3x

x = 2000

Savings = 12000 - 5 $$\times$$ 2000 = 2000

So , the answer would be option d)2000.
