If the government plans to increase the expenditure by 30% on the average of the expenditures in 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, then the approximate amount(in billions of rupees) to be spent in 2020-21 is:

From the graph,

The average of the expenditures in 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19 $$=\frac{720+820+845}{3}=\frac{2385}{3}= 795$$

$$\therefore\ $$Expenditure by government in 2020-21 $$=\frac{130}{100}\times795=1033.5$$

Hence, the correct answer is Option B
