Average marks of 60 students = 65
=> Total marks of 60 students = $$60 \times 65=3900$$
Average marks of half students i.e. $$\frac{60}{2}=30$$ students = 85
=> Total marks of 30 students = $$30 \times 85=2550$$
Total marks of remaining 30 students = $$3900-2550=1350$$
$$\therefore$$ Average marks of remaining 30 students = $$\frac{1350}{30}=45$$
