If a equals 20% of c and b equals 40% of c, then which one of the following is 150% of b?
Solution
Given, $$a = \dfrac{1}{5}\times c => c = 5a$$
$$b = \dfrac{2}{5} \times c$$
Substituting c = 5a in above equation
$$b = \dfrac{2}{5} \times 5a = 2a$$
Then,
150% of b = 150% of 2a = 300% of a
