What percent of the total number of persons visiting library in the week was the number of persons of age group 25-30 years?

Solution

From the histogram,

Number of persons visiting the library in the age group 25-30 years = 200

Total number of persons visiting the library in the week = 300 + 400 + 200 + 350 + 100 + 50 + 200 = 1600

Percentage of persons visiting the library in the age group 25-30 years = $$\frac{200}{1600}\times100$$ = 12.5%

Hence, the correct answer is Option C
