Two numbers are respectively 25% and 65% more than a third number. The ratio of the two numbers is:

Let the third number = a
Given,
First number is 25% more than third number
$$=$$> First number = $$\frac{125}{100}a$$
Second number is 65% more than third number
$$=$$> Second number = $$\frac{165}{100}a$$
$$\therefore\ $$Ratio of first and second number = $$\frac{125}{100}a:\frac{165}{100}a$$ = $$25:33$$
Hence, the correct answer is Option C
