A, B and C, working alone can do a piece of work in 15, 30 and 75 days respectively. They work together and get ₹ 1615 for completing the work. Whatis the difference in shares of A and C?

Solution

A = 15 days

B = 30 days

C = 75 days

Total work = lcm (15,30,75)

= 150

A's efficency =10

B's efficency=5

C's efficency= 2

Shares ratio = efficency ratio

Difference in shares Of A and C = 8

= $$\frac{difference in share}{total shares}\times1615$$

$$\frac{8}{17}\times1615$$

= Rs 760
