The average of 12 numbers is 15.

Sum of 12 numbers = $$15\times12$$ = 180

The average of the first four numbers is 13.

Sum of first four numbers = $$13\times4$$ = 52

Average of the remaining numbers = $$\frac{180-52}{12-4}$$

= $$\frac{128}{8}$$

= 16
