approximate average speed =Â $$\frac{2\times\ Speed_1\times Speed_2\ }{Speed_1+Speed_2}$$
=Â $$\frac{2\times40\times55\ }{40+55}$$
= $$\frac{4400}{95}$$
=Â 46.32 km/h
