What is the ratio of the number of books of S1 and the average number of books per subject?
Solution
Required ratio = $$\frac{26}{\frac{26 + 29 + 31 + 34 + 36 + 38 + 44}{7}}$$
= $$\frac{26}{\frac{238}{7}}$$ = \frac{26}{34} $$ = 13:17
So, the answer would be option a) 13:17
