The perimeter of an isosceles triangle is 50 cm.If the base is 18 cm, then find the length of the equal sides.
Solution
The perimeter of an isosceles triangle = 50 cm
Base + 2 $$\times$$ length of equal side = 50
2 $$\times$$ length of equal side = 50 - 18 = 32
Length of equal side = 32/2 = 16 cm
