Badki can bake 45 cakes in 9 hours, Badki and Chutki together can bake 80 cakes in 10 hours. How many cakes Chutki can bake in 40 hours?

Solution

Cakes baked by Badki in 1 hour = $$\frac{45}{9} = 5$$

Cakes baked by Badki and Chutki together in 1 hour = $$\frac{80}{10} = 8$$

=> Cakes baked by Chutki in 1 hour = 8 - 5 = 3

$$\therefore$$ Cakes baked by Chutki in 40 hours = 40 $$\times$$ 3 = 120

=> Ans - (C)
