Number : 583_437

Let the missing digit = $$x$$

=> Sum of digits = 5 + 8 + 3 + $$x$$ + 4 + 3 + 7 = 30 + $$x$$

Clearly, sum of digits is between 30 and 39. The only number divisible by 9 and which lies between 30 and 39 is 36

=> $$30 + x = 36$$

=> $$x = 36 - 30 = 6$$

=> Ans - (D)
