A and B do (3/5)th part of a work and the rest of the work is completed by C. If A, B and C take the same work for Rs 5000, then what is the share of C (in Rs)?

Solution

Total amount distributed = Rs. 5000

Let total work = 1 unit

=> Work done by A and B = $$\frac{3}{5}$$

=> Work done by C = $$1-\frac{3}{5}=\frac{2}{5}$$

$$\therefore$$ Share of C = $$\frac{2}{5}\times5000=Rs.$$ $$2000$$

=> Ans - (C)
