If each applicant has to submit Rs 500 as application fees how much did the college collect (in Rs lakhs) as application fees in the last three years?

Solution

Total applications in the last three years

= 5000 + 1500 + 5500 = 12000

Fee of 1 application = Rs. 500

Total application fee (in Rs lakhs) in the last three years = $$500\times0.12=60$$
