Solution
Total distance travelled by train = 150m+300m = 450 metres
Total time = 40.5 sec
Speed of train = $$\frac{450}{40.5}$$ m/sec
           = $$\frac{100}{9}$$ m/sec
Speed of train in km/hr =Â $$\frac{100}{9}\times\frac{18}{5}$$
                  = 40 km/hr
