The given pie chart shows the distribution (in degrees) of cars sold of different models by a company in 2015-16.

Question 149

If number of cars sold of model C are 22000, then what will be the difference in the number of cars sold of model A and B?

Solution

Given, number of cars of model $$C = 22,000$$ i.e $$110^{\circ}$$

$$\Rightarrow 110^{\circ} = 22,000$$

$$\Rightarrow 1^{\circ} = 200$$

Difference in the number of cars sold of model A and B = $$(45^{\circ} - 40^{\circ})$$ i.e $$5^{\circ}$$

$$\Rightarrow 5^{\circ} = (5$$ x $$200) = 1000$$

Hence, option C is the correct answer.
