14. The ratio of the incomes of two employees is 7: 4, and the ratio of their expenditures is 3: 1. If each
of them manages to save ₹4,800 per month, find
the sum of their monthly incomes (in Rs.).

assuming, income minus expenditure is savings, let us say employee 1 earns 7k and employee 2 earns 4k (as the ratio given is 7:4) and let their savings be 3j and j respectively. As they save the same amount of money (7k-3j)=(4k-j) ----(1) and this implies j = (3/2)k; solving for any employee with these variables, we get 4k-(3/2)k = 4800 which implies k = 1920, the sum of their monthly income should be 7k+4k = 21120.
Hope that helps.
Cheers :)
