Two successive discounts of 10% and 5%, in this order, are given on a bill of Z 110. Find the net amount of money payable to clear the bill. (answer to the nearest rupee)
After 2 successive discounts of 10% and 5%, the combined discount
= -10 -5 + $$\frac{-10 * -5}{100} = -15 + 0.5
= -14.5%
=> 14.5% of 110 = $$\frac{14.5}{100}$$ * 110 = 15.95
=> Amount payable = 110 - 15.95 = 94.05
= ~94
