Let the unit's digit of the number be $$y$$ and ten's digit = $$x$$
=> Number = $$10x+y$$
After interchanging the digits, new number = $$10y+x$$
According to ques,
=> $$(10x+y)-(10y+x)=27$$
=> $$9x-9y=27$$
=> $$9(x-y)=27$$
=> $$(x-y)=\frac{27}{9}=3$$
