The difference between the 38% of a number and 22% of that number = 3200

38% - 22% = 3200

16% = 3200

100% = 20000

Number = 20000

$$15\frac{1}{2}\% of the number = 20000 \times \frac{31}{2 \times 100}$$ = 3100
