What percentage of total number of workers in the factory is the number of workers whose weekly earnings are ₹6,500 or above but less than ₹8,500? (Your answer should be correct to one decimal place.)
Solution
Total number of the employee, whose salary is greater than 6500 but less than 8500Rs $$=105+90+80+70=345$$
Total number of employee$$=60+85+95+105+90+80+70+65+50=700$$
Hence, the required percentage $$\dfrac{345\times 100}{700}=49.3\%$$
