In a school, 10% of number of girls is equal to 1/20 th of number of boys. Ratio between the number of boys to number of girls is

Solution

Let the number of girls be $$100x$$ and number of boys be $$100y$$

Acc to ques :

=> $$\frac{10}{100} * 100x = \frac{1}{20} * 100y$$

=> $$10x = 5y$$

=> $$\frac{y}{x} = \frac{2}{1}$$

To find : $$\frac{100y}{100x} = \frac{y}{x}$$

= 2 : 1
