In a school, 10% of number of girls is equal to 1/20 th of number of boys. Ratio between the number of boys to number of girls is
Let number of boys = $$100x$$ and number of girls = $$100y$$
We need to find $$\frac{100x}{100y}$$ = $$\frac{x}{y}$$
10% of girls = $$\frac{10}{100} * 100y = 10y$$
1/20th of boys = $$\frac{1}{20} * 100x = 5x$$
Now, both of these are equal
=> $$5x = 10y$$
=> $$\frac{x}{y}$$ = $$\frac{2}{1}$$
=> Required ratio = 2 : 1
