The difference between 66 % of a number and 44% of the same number is 275. What is the 64% of that number?

Solution

Let the number be $$100x$$

According to ques,

=> $$(\frac{66}{100}\times100x)-(\frac{44}{100}\times100x)=275$$

=> $$66x-44x=22x=275$$

=> $$x=\frac{275}{22}=12.5$$

$$\therefore$$ 64% of the number = $$\frac{64}{100}\times100\times12.5=800$$

=> Ans - (A)
