JEE Advanced 2027 Registration Date
JEE Advanced 2027 registration will open after the declaration of JEE Main 2027 Session 2 results, expected in late April 2027. Registration is available only to candidates ranked within the top 2.5 lakh in the JEE Main common rank list; this is a hard eligibility condition. JEE Advanced 2027 Admit Card Date
The JEE Advanced 2027 admit card is expected to be released in the second week of May 2027, a few days before the examination. It is available for download only from jeeadv.ac.in; no physical copy is dispatched by post. Candidates must carry a printed copy to the examination centre along with a valid photo identity proof. The admit card carries the candidate's name, roll number, application number, photograph, signature, exam date, reporting time for both papers, and examination centre details. Any discrepancy must be reported to the organising IIT immediately, as no corrections are permitted on examination day.
JEE Advanced 2027 Exam Timings
JEE Advanced is conducted in two compulsory papers on the same day. Both papers must be attempted; missing either Paper 1 or Paper 2 results in disqualification from the ranking process. The exam covers Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics equally across both papers and includes Multiple Choice Questions, Multiple Correct Questions, Numerical Value Questions, and Match-the-Following type questions. JEE Advanced 2027 Result Date
The JEE Advanced 2027 result is expected to be declared in early June 2027 on jeeadv.ac.in, a few weeks after the examination. Before the result, the organising IIT will release a provisional answer key in late May 2027. Candidates can use it to estimate scores and raise objections against specific answers by paying a processing fee per question, which is typically refunded if the challenge is found to be valid and the key is revised.
The result includes each qualifying candidate's Common Rank List (CRL) rank, category-wise ranks, subject-wise marks, total aggregate, and qualifying status for JoSAA counselling. Only candidates who clear both the subject-wise and aggregate cutoffs set by the organising IIT receive a rank. Qualifying candidates are then eligible to participate in JoSAA 2027 counselling for seat allotment across IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
JoSAA counselling requires a separate registration on josaa.nic.in. Qualifying JEE Advanced does not automatically enrol a candidate in the counselling process.
