Recipients of this scholarship are selected based on academic achievements and demonstrated financial need, ensuring equitable access to quality education for all.
Bharti Nanji Gala Memorial Scholarship: This Scholarship, established in 2014, is funded by Mr. Dhiren Savla and his sister Priti Shah, both alumni of KJ Somaiya College of Science and Commerce and KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce respectively. The eligibility criteria for the Bharati Nanji Gala Memorial Scholarship are as follows: Female students enrolled in any diploma, full-time, or part-time course at Somaiya Vidyavihar/Ayurvihar are eligible to apply. Applicants must have maintained a first-class academic record in all previous academic years. Additionally, candidates should come from households with an annual income of ₹300,000 or less.
Need based Scholarship: There are mainly two types of scholarships under this category ie. Smt. Sakarbai K Somaiya Memorial Scholarship and Smt. Mayadevi S Somaiya Memorial Scholarship where the eligibility criteria require applicants to demonstrate financial need through relevant documentation. Benevolent Scholarship: Under this, Shri Raychand Karamshi Savla Memorial Scholarship aims to support students who have experienced sudden economic hardships such as the death of a family member or loss of employment. The eligibility criteria is: family income should be ₹3 lakhs or less, students from any institute or course across campuses are eligible, minimum score of 80% in the previous exam is required.
