The Common Selection process at the Top IIMs

The selection process at the top IIMs is broadly divided into two stages. Let us check out the stages in the selection process at the top IIMs in detail.

Stage 1: Candidates are shortlisted for the interviews based on their CAT score and other factors like academic records, work experience, etc. Interview letters are sent to the shortlisted candidate.

Stage 2: The second stage is where the colleges select based on WAT-PI. A Composite Score is calculated for the Final Selection. The composite score of each candidate is calculated (usually out of 100) based on specific parameters, and the final selection list will be made.

Calculation of the Composite Score for Shortlisting for the WAT-PI stage: The composite scores shall be computed based on the factors described below. This information is available on the official website of IIM Lucknow.

Calculation of the Composite Score for Shortlisting at WAT-PI stage

The composite score (based on the above Calculation of the Composite Score ) for the candidates who qualify in Stage 1 and the shortlist for the WAT-PI process shall be available on the official website. Such candidates shall be required to fill in and submit the WAT-PI form online by the stipulated deadline. The candidates, who fail to submit their WAT-PI form online by the prescribed time limit, shall not be allowed for the WAT-PI process. Furthermore, no queries in this regard shall be entertained by IIM Lucknow.
