Instructions

In each of these questions a number series is given. Below the series one number is given followed by (a), (b), (c),
(d) and (e). You have to complete this series following the same logic as in the original series and answer the question that follows.

Question 94

6, 16, 57, 244, 1245, 7506
4 (a) (b) (c) (d) (e)
What will come in place of (d) ?

Solution

The pattern here followed is :

6 $$\times 2 + 2^2$$ = 16

16 $$\times 3 + 3^2$$ = 57

57 $$\times 4 + 4^2$$ = 244

244 $$\times 5 + 5^2$$ = 1245

1245 $$\times 6 + 6^2$$ = 7506

Similarly,

4 $$\times 2 + 2^2$$ = 12

12 $$\times 3 + 3^2$$ = 45

45 $$\times 4 + 4^2$$ = 196

196 $$\times 5 + 5^2$$ = 1005
