Mean free path is

$$λ=\frac{1}{\sqrt{\ 2nσ}}$$

where

For molecules of diameter d,

$$\sigma=\pi d^2$$

So

$$λ=\frac{1}{\sqrt{\ 2n\pi\ d^2}}$$
