Solution

Each term is divided by 2 and then 2 is added.

508 $$\div 2 + 2$$ = 256

256 $$\div 2 + 2$$ = 130

130 $$\div 2 + 2$$ = 67

67 $$\div 2 + 2$$ = 35.5

35.5 $$\div 2 + 2$$ = 19.75
