Solution

The boy spends Rs 20 to purchase toffees at Rs 1 each, => Number of toffees bought = 20

Toffees purchase next day = $$\frac{40}{0.50}=80$$

Total toffees bought = 100 and amount spent = Rs. 60 = 6000 paise

=> Average price per toffee (in paise) = $$\frac{6000}{100}=60$$

=> Ans - (B)
