Solution

Average runs conceded by the bowler in 5 matches = 45

=> Total runs conceded in 5 matches = $$45\times5=225$$

Similarly, runs conceded in other 4 matches = $$15.75\times4=63$$

=> Total runs conceded in 9 matches = $$225+63=288$$

$$\therefore$$ Average runs conceded by the bowler in 9 matches = $$\frac{288}{9}=32$$
