How many children are there in the class ?
I. 20% children speak Hindi in the class ?
II. 44 children can speak languages other than Hindi.
III. There are 30 boys in the class.
Solution
From I, 20% children speak Hindi only. i.e 80% children can speak other languages.
From II, 44 children can speak language other then Hindi.
If x is the total number of children in the class, then x × 80% = 44 i.e. x = 55. Hence to get the answer
I and II are sufficient.
