The following graph shows the production of cotton cloth (in lakh metres) by three companies A, B and C over five years.
In which years was the average production of the companies, more than 38 lakh metres?
As we know,
$$Average=\frac{sum\ of\ observation}{Number\ of\ observation}$$
The average production of companies of A, B and C in different years :
= $$\frac{24+22+40}{3}=22\ lakhs$$
$$=\frac{29+23+62}{3}=38\ lakhs$$
$$=\frac{24+38+59}{3}=40.33\ lakhs$$
$$=\frac{57+49+51}{3}=52.33\ lakhs$$
$$=\frac{45+55+53}{3}=50.66\ lakhs$$
So, The average production of the company is more than 38 lakhs in 1998, 1999 and 2000.
Hence, Option B is correct.
